Like the American Silver Eagle and the Chinese Silver Panda, the Canadian Silver Maple Leaf is one of the world's top bullion coins. One thing that draws so many people to these coins is their exceptionally high level of purity. The first Silver Maple Leaf coins were struck by the Royal Canadian Mint (RCM) in 1988. The coins in this roll were minted for 2023, which is an unusual year for the series because of the obverse.

Pending approval from Buckingham Palace, the RCM created a transitional obverse which still features Susanna Blunt's effigy of Her Late Majesty, but updated with the dates of her long reign. It is unknown at this time if the first effigy of King Charles III will appear later on the series later in 2023 or if that will debut in 2024, however despite a lack of a statement from the RCM, it is very likely that 2023 will be the final year the Queen appears on the Maple Leaf series. This roll contains 25 1 ounce Silver Maple Leaf coins in GEM BU condition. Silver Maple Leafs include state of the art security features to help deter counterfeiting. Silver Maple Leafs have also been treated with the RCM's MintShieldT technology which helps reduce milk spots.

Obverse: Susanna Blunt's portrait of Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II is still on the obverse of this 2023 Silver Maple Leaf. Since this is a transitional design, it's a little different from the standard version from previous years. The left portion of the design is inscribed with "1952" and "2022" which are the years of Her Late Majesty's rule. It is not known how long this transitional obverse design will be used. King Charles III is expected to be depicted next, which means it's likely that 2023 is the last time Queen Elizabeth II will be depicted on the obverse of the series.

Reverse: The maple leaf design on the reverse features an incredible level of detail. The inscriptions on this side of each coin state the silver content.
