1992 Silver Maple Leaf Coin- MS69 Highest Grade - 1 Oz 99.99%. This MS69 is the highest known grade of this coin (which is MS69, there is no recorded MS70). The production is a low 343,800 for this coin, so the Royal Canadian Mint did not produce that many in year 1992.
The mint around 1992 often had problems with milk spotting on their coins - this one has no milk spotting. In excellent condition, I bought this in year 1992 and carefully stored it for all these years. Three years ago, I sent this in to NGC and had it graded and stored it away again. Bright, dazzling and shiny - everything you want in a collectible item.
The capsule has an area of superficial tiny granulated patterns, this is from removing a piece of scotch tape from the front (tape residue) - see last few photos. This does not affect the underlying coin - which is beautiful. To add to your maple leaf collection, or to begin one! Certainly the best present a coin collector could give to a loved one or keep for yourself. The Canadian Silver Maple Leaf is a silver bullion coin that is issued annually by the Government of Canada since 1988. It is produced by the Royal Canadian Mint. It is a smooth surface with a simple depiction of Queen Elizabeth II and the other side with the maple leaf. The Silver Maple Leaf is legal tender. The face value is 5 Canadian dollars. The market value of the metal varies, depending on the spot price of silver. The 99.99% silver content makes the coin among the finest official bullion coins worldwide. The standard version has a weight of 1 troy ounce (31.10 grams). The year 1992 was a low production year, only 343,800 created. We collected our first coin in year 1990, with a Morgan dollar, and thus began our appreciation of coins, rounds, and associated fine items. We are beginning to offer these great items to our special clients to share this passion with others. We believe in giving good value for the pricing, we try to describe fully (and point out) all conditions of use of all items.
The boxing of items is done with reused boxing and sometimes making custom boxing for specialized items and shapes. Having said that, you may unexpectedly receive a box marked "canned peas" and be surprised to find your vintage music box carefully packaged inside. We will ensure that your new acquisition will be carefully packaged.
