The reverse design features the now classic Silver Maple Leaf's traditional design, but with a special anniversary twist. Unchanged since 1988, the engraved sugar maple leaf takes center stage, while the superimposed number "30" indicates that 2018 is the 30th anniversary of the introduction of the RCM's most popular silver coin. The obverse features the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by Susanna Blunt.
